Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Doors & Hardware Foreman to supervise 2-6 field installers, as well as install commercial doors & hardware.
Compensation :
$30/h- $35/h depending on experience, plus 10 hours weekly overtime!
Location:
Gordonville, PA Benefits :
120 hours PTO after 30 days, Medical, Dental, Vision insurance, 401K match and more!

M-F (6 am to 4:30 pm) Employment type :
Direct Hire, Full-Time Overview:
Supervise team of field installers, as well as install doors & hardware using impact & cordless drills, skill saws, grinders, belt sanders, routers, jig saws, but not limited to other power tools. Supervise approximately 2-6 Installers. Responsibilities for
Foreman :
Attends job site weekly meetings as needed Supervise installers each day on the job site Daily reports on job sites Use tools properly to ensure safety and protect quality of doors and hardware Analyze drawings, sketches, work orders to complete task at hand Prep doors to receive hardware Install frames, doors, hardware & accessories per manufacturer requirements Operate equipment safely and use safe work habits Examine finished product for defects to ensure conformance with quality Requirements/Qualifications for
Foreman :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Must be able to lift/carry 25-50 lbs. frequently Experience using power tools, saws, drills etc. Industry experience with installation of building materials preferred Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check Drivers license preferred but not required Must have strong math skills, communication skills, problem solving skills Ability to read and interpret a tape measure Ability to determine what type of tool and equipment are needed for a job Physical Demands Spends majority of time standing, kneeling/crouching/stooping, using hands and reaching. Frequent lifting required 25-50 pounds for items. Work Environment May be exposed to variable weather conditions. Other conditions may include proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery and using various tools and hardware.
