Job Summary:
The Refurbisher primarily works in the outside plant area of the AmeriGas facilities (primarily out of Gordonville, PA) and will be responsible for scraping, painting cylinders and tanks and replacing parts as required. Other duties may include movement of tanks from one area of the yard to another, providing assistance with loading/unloading trucks when they arrive for tank related items and clean-up of work area after tank painting has beenpleted.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Remove rust on tanks and repaint them.
  • Replace parts on tanks as required.
  • Visually recertify tanks.
  • Clean up work area after work ispleted daily
  • Identify and report when replacement supplies are needed.
  • Provide daily reports of the number of tanks/cylinderspleted, by size
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from manager
  • Ability to climb steps/ladders, walk 1-5 miles and carry multiple propane cylinders weighing up to 75 lbs. each
  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and climbing in and around tanks
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions
  • Willingness to travel minimum of 3 weeks/month, sometimes including weekends.
Education and Experience:
  • At least 21 years old.

The pay for this position ranges from $52,000.00 to $52,000.00 , depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additionalpensation may include eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus ormissions onpleted sales depending on position. This is the Company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range ofpensation for this position as of the time of posting.
