Petrakis Contracting, LLC. is seeking an experienced and dependable Gas Line Service Foreman to lead a small service crew performing residential and commercial natural gas service work for local utility companies. The Gas Line Service Foreman will be responsible for safely and efficiently completing gas service installations and related work behind a main-line digging crew. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and oversee the installation of residential and commercial natural gas service lines from the curb stop to the meter. Perform and oversee gas service work following safety requirements. Perform internal plumbing work associated with gas service installations and meter relocations. Safely operate a rigid pipe threader and other tools and equipment required for gas service work. Relocate natural gas meters from inside residences to approved exterior locations when required. Coordinate work with the main-line digging crew to ensure service installations are completed efficiently and on schedule. Inspect completed work to ensure it meets project specifications, quality standards, and applicable safety requirements. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience installing natural gas service lines from the curb stop to the meter. Experience with residential and/or commercial natural gas service work. Ability to perform internal plumbing associated with natural gas service installations. Experience operating a rigid pipe threader. Experience relocating natural gas meters from inside a home to an exterior location. Ability to read and follow plans, specifications, and utility requirements.
