Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Plumbing Foreman to lead and oversee plumbing projects within the commercial construction sector. This role involves managing on-site plumbing operations, supervising skilled tradespeople, ensuring project timelines are met, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management skills, extensive plumbing expertise, and a proactive leadership style that motivates teams to deliver exceptional results on every project. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all plumbing installation activities on commercial construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and specifications. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop detailed work schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or ProCore. Oversee daily site operations, including managing labor resources, material deliveries, and equipment usage to optimize productivity. Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce OSHA standards to maintain a safe work environment for all team members. Review blueprints, schematics, and construction documents thoroughly to ensure accurate implementation of plumbing systems. Perform quality control inspections to verify that work meets industry standards and client expectations; utilize tools like concrete Saw cutters, coring machines scissor lifts,high reach. Manage project budgets by tracking costs related to labor, materials, and equipment. I would bid have schedules to maintain and have most material ordered for each job. Maintain detailed documentation of work progress, change orders, contracts, and daily reports using Bluebeam or other construction management software. Supervise subcontractors and tradespeople, providing guidance on technical tasks such as pipefitting, schematics interpretation, and pipeline installation. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy commercial plumbing projects with a strong background in construction site management. Supervising experience leading teams of tradespeople in fast-paced environments. Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, construction estimating, project scheduling, and budgeting principles. Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6 or Primavera; experience with HeavyBid is a plus. Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for construction sites. Technical proficiency with tools like concrete saw cutters , core machines how to set carriers and water coolers with bottle fillers Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical drawings related to plumbing systems. Excellent management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality control standards. Valid certifications in construction safety (OSHA) are required; additional certifications in plumbing or project management are advantageous.
