Job Description
Lead. Organize. Deliver. Swiftec, Inc. is looking for an experienced and dependable shop foreman to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse/shop. To include management of materials, tools and support field personnel by ensuring equipment and supplies are ready when needed. If you're highly organized, solution-oriented, and comfortable wearing many hats, we want to hear from you.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Oversee material receiving and logging for all projects
- Purchase and distribute miscellaneous materials to support field operations
- Manage and track company tools, equipment, and inventory
- Delivery of necessary equipment to field personnel as requested
- Able to operate/load/haul equipment
Weekly Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain the shop and storage areas
- Manage and process vendor returns
- Basic Welding
- Minor Maintenance on equipment
As-Needed Responsibilities:
- Supervise the distribution of materials to job sites
- Coordinate company vehicle repairs and maintenance
- Manage trailer and equipment maintenance schedules
- Assist or supervise light fabrication and painting tasks
- Oversee job site signage preparation and delivery
- Support general property maintenance as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license required and must maintain an insurable driving record
- All applicants must consent to a drug screen prior to hiring
- Prior experience in a warehouse, shop, or construction environment preferred
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in tracking tools, materials, equipment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Basic mechanical or fabrication skills preferred but not required
- Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) What we offer:
