Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Foreman to lead projects in the field. This is a hands-on field leadership position responsible for managing crews, coordinating projects, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring high-quality work. Most projects are within a 100-mile radius , and employees are home most nights . Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and oversee multiple projects and crews Lead daily jobsite meetings and communicate schedules with crews Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with quality workmanship Train and mentor crew members Approve timesheets and complete required paperwork Manage tools, equipment, and jobsite operations Assist with hiring, employee reviews, and crew assignments Qualifications Construction leadership experience preferred Grain equipment installation experience preferred Welding/fabrication experience is a plus Ability to read blueprints and project specifications Strong communication and organizational skills Valid driver's license required Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ pounds Regular climbing, lifting, standing, and working at heights Willingness to work outdoors and occasionally long hours What We're Looking For Strong leadership and work ethic Positive attitude and willingness to teach others Safety-focused and detail-oriented Someone willing to work alongside the crew in the field
