Job Description

Senior Electrical Foreman West Tennessee | $28.00-$39.00/hr + Overtime Monday-Friday | Day Shift | Local Projects | No Overnight Travel Jack Hornsby Electric is looking for an experienced Electrical Foreman who can take charge in the field, keep crews productive, and make sure commercial and industrial electrical projects are completed safely, correctly, and on schedule. This is an opportunity for an experienced electrician ready to take greater ownership of crew leadership, job-site coordination, project execution, and day-to-day decision-making . You'll work on established commercial and industrial projects throughout West Tennessee without the extended travel that comes with many electrical leadership positions. Our team has delivered electrical work for major sites and organizations including Kirkland Cancer Center, Ballad Health Micro Hospital, Georgia-Pacific, Novalex / Duro, and Pope K-8 School . The Role As Foreman, you'll serve as the field leader for your crew and help turn project plans into completed electrical installations. You'll be responsible for: Directing electricians and apprentices throughout the workday Assigning work and coordinating daily crew activities Reviewing drawings, plans, and specifications before and during installation Coordinating electrical work with Project Managers, other trades, and site personnel Monitoring progress and helping keep projects on schedule Troubleshooting field issues and determining practical solutions Maintaining quality workmanship and ensuring installations meet code requirements Promoting a safe, organized, and productive job site Communicating project needs, material requirements, and field updates to management Helping develop less-experienced electricians through hands-on leadership and training What You Bring 7+ years of commercial or industrial electrical experience Previous experience leading electrical crews or serving as a Foreman preferred Strong understanding of electrical installation and job-site practices Ability to confidently read and interpret electrical blueprints and specifications Experience coordinating work and keeping crews on schedule Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to troubleshoot problems and make sound field decisions OSHA training or certification is a plus What Jack Hornsby Electric Offers $28-$39/hr + overtime opportunities Monday-Friday daytime schedule Local West Tennessee projects with no overnight travel Paid Time Off + 6 Paid Holidays Personal Time Off Monthly Health Stipend Leaders Credit Union membership benefits 401(k) with Profit Sharing Workwear Allowance Dental, VisionVoluntary Life Insurance Company-Paid LifeAD&D Insurance Company-Paid Short-Term Disability Annual Holiday Parties Take the Lead If you're an experienced electrician who is ready to step into a stronger leadership role, this position gives you the opportunity to lead people, influence project outcomes, and build your career without giving up your evenings and weekends to constant travel.
