Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Home Renovator to lead and execute residential remodeling and renovation projects with precision and enthusiasm. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming living spaces by applying your extensive construction expertise, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your hands-on approach, combined with your knowledge of building materials and construction techniques, will help bring homeowners' visions to life while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide renovation projects. Perform a variety of building construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, and trim carpentry. Install windows, cabinets, flooring, tile, and other finishing materials with precision and attention to detail. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to facilitate demolition, excavation, or material transportation as needed. Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and project specifications. Manage the installation of plumbing systems, electrical wiring, and HVAC components in accordance with technical standards. Collaborate with clients and team members to interpret project requirements and adjust plans accordingly for remodeling or restoration projects. Maintain a clean and organized worksite while adhering strictly to safety protocols at all times. Fabricate custom components or modifications on-site using hand tools or fabrication equipment when necessary. Ensure timely completion of hardscaping projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures. Experience Proven experience in residential construction or remodeling with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation relevant to home renovation tasks. Knowledge of building materials including drywall, masonry, flooring materials, caulking compounds, stucco finishes, and cabinetry installation. Experience in plumbing installation, electrical work, tile laying, plastering, and hardscaping is highly desirable. Familiarity with construction estimating software such as Bluebeam is a plus. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical specifications and adhere to safety standards on active construction sites.
