Overview Join our dynamic residential construction team as a Construction Foreman, where you will lead and work with team on the successful execution of residential building projects from start to finish. This pivotal role combines hands-on supervision with strategic planning, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. As a Residential Construction Foreman, you will coordinate crews, interpret technical drawings, and manage daily operations on-site to deliver exceptional living spaces for our clients. Your leadership will drive project excellence and foster a collaborative team environment that thrives on efficiency and safety. Duties Supervise and manage construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth daily operations on residential sites Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction schedules to coordinate site activities effectively Oversee safety compliance by enforcing OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards across all project phases Coordinate project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and Primavera or HeavyBid to meet deadlines Review construction drawings for accuracy and clarity; manage revisions and updates as needed Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets design specifications, building codes, and industry standards Manage project budgets, track costs, and assist in procurement processes using construction management tools like ProCore and Bluebeam Lead team meetings, communicate project goals clearly, and manage crew performance to foster a productive work environment Ensure proper use of tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and other technical equipment necessary for quality assurance Maintain comprehensive documentation including daily reports, safety logs, change orders, and inspection records Qualifications Proven experience supervising residential or commercial construction projects with a strong understanding of construction site operations Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, technical drawing review, and interpreting construction plans Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid or similar tools Familiarity with OSHA standards and federal safety regulations specific to construction sites Demonstrated ability managing teams in a construction management role with excellent communication skills Strong understanding of construction scheduling techniques and project coordination strategies Hands-on experience with construction safety management practices and quality control procedures Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and oversee their implementation on-site Crew management skills with a focus on fostering teamwork while maintaining high safety standards Knowledge of budgeting processes related to labor, materials, and equipment procurement in residential projects Valid certifications in OSHA safety training; additional certifications such as or relevant trade licenses are advantageous Join us in shaping beautiful homes while advancing your career in a fast-paced environment that values leadership, safety, and craftsmanship.
