Come join our growing team! We're seeking an experienced and safety-focused Scaffold Builder Leadman to join our team. In this role, you'll lead a crew in the safe erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding systems for industrial construction and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, extensive scaffold-building experience, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity while ensuring work is completed in accordance with project specifications and company standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a crew of scaffold builders during the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffold systems. Read and interpret scaffold drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate installation. Assign daily tasks and monitor crew productivity and quality of work. Inspect scaffold components before use to ensure they meet safety and quality standards. Ensure scaffolds are built in compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and customer requirements. Conduct daily safety meetings and reinforce proper use of fall protection and personal protective equipment (PPE). Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment with supervisors to support project schedules. Perform scaffold inspections and identify hazards or deficiencies, ensuring corrective actions are taken. Train and mentor scaffold builders to improve skills, safety awareness, and work practices. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Qualifications Previous experience as a Scaffold Builder Leadman or Lead Scaffold Builder in industrial construction or maintenance required. Strong knowledge of scaffold systems, erection methods, load capacities, and OSHA scaffold regulations. Ability to read scaffold drawings, blueprints, and work specifications. Experience leading crews and coordinating daily work activities. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions. Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and maintaining project schedules. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites as needed. Background Check, Hair Follicle Drug Testing, TWIC Card, and Basic Plus Safety Orientation preferred (as required by the project).
