Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Plumbing Foreman to lead and oversee plumbing projects within commercial construction sites. This role is vital in ensuring that plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance are executed efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with all local building codes and industry standards. As a key leader on the job site, you will coordinate teams, manage resources, and ensure project milestones are met with precision. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality plumbing solutions that meet client expectations and adhere to safety regulations. Duties Lead and supervise plumbing crews on commercial construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to construction plans and schematics Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately install or repair plumbing systems including gas piping systems and complex piping networks Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to schedule work phases and ensure seamless communication throughout projects Oversee pipe installation, pipe threading, welding, and the use of power tools and hand tools for heavy lifting and precise fittings Ensure all work complies with local building codes, plumbing building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards for commercial plumbing projects Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems for maintenance, repair, or remodeling projects; troubleshoot issues using schematics and technical drawings Manage materials inventory, order supplies as needed for ongoing projects, and ensure proper use of construction materials in accordance with project specifications Enforce safety protocols on-site by conducting safety meetings, monitoring adherence to safety regulations, and addressing hazards proactively Skills Extensive construction site experience with a focus on commercial plumbing projects Strong knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repair within residential or commercial settings Ability to read blueprints, schematics, construction plans, and technical diagrams accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding techniques, and gas piping systems installation Familiarity with local building codes related to plumbing systems including gas piping regulations and remodeling standards Experience with construction plans management including MRO (maintenance, repair & operations) tasks Excellent customer service skills to coordinate effectively with clients and project teams Knowledge of safety regulations specific to construction sites; ability to enforce safety practices consistently Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe sizing or system layouts Physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights in a construction environment Join us as a Commercial Plumbing Foreman where your leadership will drive successful project completion while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
