Hellas., Inc. headquartered in Austin, TX, is a nationwide specializing in sports facility construction. We manufacture, install and resurface artificial turfs & synthetic surfaces while completing the design from start to finish. Hellas, Inc. is looking for an Foreman to join our team and increase our national presence in Houston, TX and surrounding areas with extensive traveling when requested by the company.

• Position Purpose The Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing daily operations at the construction job site. This role involves directing and supervising crews, ensuring efficient workflow and proactively identifying and resolving job site challenges. Additionally, the Foreman acts as a key liaison between field personnel and management, including General Superintendents and Project Managers, facilitating clear communication and alignment on project objectives. This position serves as the primary point of contact for all job-site operations, ensuring projects are executed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with company standards and instruction regulations. Duties and Responsibilities Oversees time reporting for laborers and on-site personnel. Trains and evaluates laborers on skill proficiency and safe equipment operation. Assigns daily tasks based on skill sets and ensures adherence to operating policies and procedures. Promotes a culture of safety and performance by leading by example. Builds strong relationships with project staff at all levels. Collaborates with supervisors and managers to plan staffing needs and maintain work schedules. Responsible for communicating with PM to ensure all necessary tools and materials are on site. Coordinates with the Project Manager to ensure necessary tools and materials are available on-site. Captures and uploads daily project photos for documentation. Provides consistent project progress reports and workload updates. Occasionally arranges crew accommodations when needed. Oversees preventative maintenance for equipment and tools, ensuring all machinery is operational, properly greased, fueled, and inspected for functionality. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. One to three (1 - 3) years' experience in a lead role, preferably in a construction setting. Possess a certificate of completion for OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training. Possess a valid driver license and the ability to drive a company pickup truck. Ability to successfully pass a criminal history background check and/or fingerprinting. Must be open to travel. Skills Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage professionally with all levels of the organization, as well as external clients, vendors, and engineering professionals. Balances efficient execution of construction plans with proactive safety measures, demonstrating attention to detail and quick decision-making in emergencies. Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop teams, build consensus, and inspire confidence. Proven ability to direct work. Effective at directing work, delegating tasks, and managing high-pressure situations with strong conflict-resolution abilities. Expertise in operating and assessing the safe use of various construction equipment. Willingness to learn and operate a PC, including basic Microsoft Office Suite applications and industry-specific software such as Procore and Gorilla Fleet Management. Must have a clean driving record and a Valid Driver's License. Position Type/Expected hours of work Full-time position Non-exempt position Field hours vary based on the project and the weather.
