Houston Christmas Lights is a professional holiday light installation company serving homes and neighborhoods across the Greater Houston area. Beyond lighting up homes, we give back to the community with our Giving Back Program after every 10 homes served. We are seeking an experienced Holiday Lighting Crew Leader to work alongside our team this holiday season with the opportunity to grow into a larger leadership role. The right candidate will bring 3+ years of professional Christmas light installation experience or strong transferable experience in industries such as roofing, tree trimming, landscaping, exterior construction, or similar work. For the 2026 season , we want this person working hands-on with our team, learning our processes, quality standards, customers, and expectations while demonstrating their ability to lead. For the right candidate, our goal is to have them step into a management position for the 2027 season and lead their own installation crew. This is a seasonal role (October-January) with the opportunity to return each year. As our company expands, qualified candidates may also have the opportunity for year-round work through permanent lighting and other exterior services.

Responsibilities:

Work hands-on alongside our installation team Help lead, train, and supervise installers on job sites Ensure safety procedures are followed, including ladder, roof, and electrical safety Communicate professionally with customers and team members Help keep projects on schedule while maintaining installation quality Troubleshoot onsite challenges quickly and effectively Conduct final walk-throughs to ensure projects meet company standards Help maintain and organize ladders, tools, lights, and installation equipment Develop into a larger management role as the company grows

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in professional holiday lighting installation or a related trade Previous leadership or crew-lead experience preferred Strong safety-first mindset and understanding of ladder and roof safety Reliable, organized, and highly attentive to detail Comfortable leading others while also working hands-on Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Fluent in English & Spanish strongly preferred Truck capable of hauling ladders and equipment strongly preferred
