A Construction Foreman supervises work crews at construction sites. Hires and manages construction workers and directs work according to plans developed by a project manager and architects. May specialize in a particular type of building project such as residential or industrial construction, or a particular part or stage of the construction process.
Full-Time About the Role We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Site Construction Foreman to lead site development and infrastructure projects. You are expected to bring your own team over to the site, or recruit your own team locally. Important Note for

Build Your Own Crew:
You must have the ability and network to personally recruit, build, and manage a stable, self-performing on-site construction crew.
Hands-On Leadership:
You will be actively working alongside your team on the site daily.
Heavy Equipment Operation:
You must have actual, hands-on experience operating heavy machinery, not just scheduling operators.
Industrial Experience:
Prior experience in data centers, oil & gas fields, power stations, or large-scale industrial site development is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities Team Building & Management:
Recruit, assemble, train, and manage a reliable, in-house construction crew in alignment with the project schedule.
Project Execution:
Oversee site construction planning, personnel scheduling, equipment dispatching, construction progress, quality control, and safety management.
Heavy Equipment Operation:
Directly operate and train others on common heavy construction machinery, including Excavators, Bulldozers, Motor Graders, Skid Steers, Loaders, Compactors/Rollers, and Forklifts/Telehandlers.
Site Development:
Lead the team in clearing, excavation, backfilling, site grading, compaction, and the construction of roads and equipment foundations.
Infrastructure & Utility Installation:
Organize underground and above-ground utility construction based on blueprints, including: Water supply and drainage piping. Underground electrical conduits, cable trenches, and cabling. Fiber optic and network communication conduits and lines. Coordination of natural gas and other site utilities.
Facility Assembly:
Organize and physically participate in the installation and assembly of data centers/server rooms, containerized modular data centers, equipment platforms, structural supports, and related infrastructure.
Blueprint Reading:
Interpret basic Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Utility blueprints to accurately perform site layout, execution, and inspections.
Resource Coordination:
Efficiently coordinate site materials, machinery, tools, and labor to minimize downtime and control costs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate daily with Project Managers, Engineers, Electricians, Plumbers, Network Engineers, and specialized subcontractors.
Reporting:
Provide daily updates on construction progress, headcount, equipment utilization, and any on-site issues.
Quality & Safety Assurance:
Ensure top-tier construction quality and immediately rectify defects. Strictly enforce OSHA guidelines and internal company safety protocols.
Required Qualifications Experience:
5+ years of on-site construction experience in site development, civil engineering, infrastructure, or similar large-scale projects. Previous experience as a Foreman, Superintendent, or Crew Leader is highly preferred.
Self-Performing Expertise:
Proven track record of directly managing an internal construction crew, not just supervising third-party subcontractors.
Equipment Mastery:
Must be highly proficient in operating at least 3 types of heavy construction equipment (Excavator, Bulldozer, and Motor Grader proficiency is heavily preferred).
Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of earthwork, grading, road construction, drainage, and underground utility installation (water, power, fiber/network).
Problem Solving:
Ability to independently evaluate field issues and implement practical, actionable solutions.
Cost & Schedule Control:
Capable of scheduling labor and equipment efficiently while controlling overall project costs.
Work Environment:
Strong sense of responsibility and execution. Must be able to work long hours and adapt to the physical demands and weather conditions of a Texas project site on a long-term basis.
Language Skills:
English proficiency is required for effective site communication. Preferred Qualifications Previous construction experience with Data Centers, Modular Data Centers, Industrial Plants, Power Stations, Oil/Gas fields, or similar environments. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a strong plus. Valid OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Heavy equipment operation and safety training certifications. Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
