Position Overview Position:

Sebastian Eichler (Owner/Master Electrician)
Works With:
Field electricians, apprentices, general contractors, project managers, and clients
Expected Hours:
7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Extended hours may be required for project deadlines at standard rate.

Negotiable based on experience, credentials, and demonstrated ability Role Summary The Electrical Foreman is responsible for leading field operations on commercial and residential projects, ensuring quality execution, code compliance, team coordination, and effective communication with all stakeholders. This role demands both technical expertise and leadership capability—you'll be the boots-on-the-ground leader who turns plans into reality while upholding Stratos Electric's standards of excellence and integrity. Core Responsibilities Project Leadership & Execution Lead electrical installations on assigned projects from start to completion Interpret blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings accurately Plan daily work activities, assign tasks to crew members, and ensure efficient workflow Ensure all work meets or exceeds NEC code requirements and local ordinances Maintain the highest standards of workmanship—quality over speed, every time Troubleshoot technical challenges and develop effective solutions in the field Team Management & Development Supervise and mentor electricians and apprentices on job sites Provide on-the-job training and share technical knowledge with less experienced team members Set clear expectations and hold crew members accountable to Stratos standards Foster a positive, professional work environment built on mutual respect Conduct daily toolbox talks on safety, quality, and project objectives Communication & Coordination Serve as primary on-site contact for general contractors, superintendents, and clients Communicate project status, challenges, and needs clearly to Sebastian and office staff Coordinate material deliveries and equipment needs to prevent delays Document daily progress, labor hours, and material usage accurately Proactively identify and communicate potential issues before they become problems Safety & Compliance Maintain a zero-tolerance approach to unsafe practices and conditions Enforce proper PPE use and adherence to OSHA regulations at all times Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and hazard-free throughout the project Conduct site safety assessments and implement necessary corrective actions Report all accidents, near-misses, and safety concerns immediately Resource & Material Management Create accurate material lists and coordinate orders with office staff Track material usage to minimize waste and support accurate project costing Ensure proper care and maintenance of all tools and equipment Report damaged or missing equipment immediately Maintain organized, secure storage of materials and tools on job sites Professional Standards & Expectations Arrive punctually and ready to work each day—your crew looks to you to set the standard Present yourself professionally in appearance, conduct, and communication Represent Stratos Electric's values of honesty, quality, and customer focus Maintain a positive, solution-oriented attitude even when facing challenges Use professional language—no profanity or inappropriate behavior on job sites Respect client property and maintain clean, organized work areas at all times Operate company vehicles responsibly and keep them clean and maintained Provide at least two weeks' notice for planned time off Notify Sebastian before 6:30 AM on any day you're unable to work due to illness Required Qualifications Texas Journeyman Electrician license (minimum) Minimum 5 years of electrical field experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role Thorough knowledge of NEC, local codes, and commercial/residential electrical systems Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to pass background check and drug screening Physical capability to perform electrical work (lifting 50+ lbs, working on ladders/lifts, etc.) Preferred Qualifications Experience with commercial tenant improvement projects Experience with project management software (BuildOps or similar platforms) Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills Personal Attributes We Value Integrity and honesty—we do the right thing even when it costs more Initiative and problem-solving mindset—you see issues and address them Commitment to quality craftsmanship and continuous improvement Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire and develop others Clear, direct communication style with both technical and non-technical people Systems-thinking approach—you understand how details connect to the bigger picture Humility and willingness to learn—no ego, just results Pride in your work and the success of your team Key Performance Indicators Projects completed on schedule and within quality standards Zero safety incidents or OSHA violations on job sites under your supervision Accurate time tracking and material documentation submitted daily Positive feedback from general contractors, clients, and crew members First-time inspection pass rate (minimal code violations or callbacks) Team development—apprentices and electricians grow under your leadership Material waste minimization and cost control Career Development & Growth Stratos Electric invests in our people.
