Project-Based Position | Potential for Ongoing Employment Architectural Components, Inc. is hiring an experienced Commercial Construction Foreman based in the St. George area for a commercial project in St. George, Utah. Our main office is located in Sandy, Utah; however, we are looking for a local St. George-area Foreman to lead our specialty installation work on this project. This position will not require daily reporting to our Sandy office. This is initially a full-time, project-based position for our St. George project. Depending on future workload, available projects, business needs, and performance, there may be an opportunity for continued employment with Architectural Components following completion of the project. About the Position This is a working Foreman position . You will lead the field crew while also actively participating in installation. Because our main office and management team are based in Sandy, we need someone who is dependable, communicates well, takes ownership of the jobsite, and can effectively lead our work in St. George. A company iPad will be provided for reviewing drawings, submittals, shop drawings, installation instructions, progress documentation, and communication. Responsibilities Lead and work alongside the field installation crew Plan daily work and assign crew responsibilities Review plans, specifications, shop drawings, submittals, and installation instructions Coordinate work with the General Contractor and other trades Take initiative and proactively address jobsite needs Identify and resolve field conflicts before they create delays Maintain project schedules and production expectations Monitor labor, materials, and equipment usage Ensure installations meet plans, specifications, and AC quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Promote and enforce company safety requirements Identify material or equipment needs before they impact production Communicate regularly with the AC Superintendent and Project Manager Complete daily job reports and progress photos Train and direct crew members Professionally represent Architectural Components on the jobsite Qualifications 3-5 years of commercial construction experience preferred Previous Foreman or field leadership experience Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and construction drawings Ability to understand shop drawings, submittals, and manufacturer installation instructions Knowledge of commercial construction means and methods Strong leadership and problem-solving skills Ability to take initiative and work independently Strong communication skills Organized and attentive to detail Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities Valid driver's license with a good driving history OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred Ability to meet company drug-testing requirements Experience with Division 10 specialties, expansion joints, louvers, wall protection, sunshades, skylights, or similar specialty installations is a plus. We are willing to train an experienced commercial construction Foreman on our specific products and systems. Benefits Employees become eligible for company benefits after 60 days of employment.
