Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Foreman at Beckstrom Electric, Co will oversee the service side of our electrical operations. The primary aim is to ensure that all projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards and client expectations. The role involves managing a team of electricians, coordinating schedules, and maintaining high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team of electricians, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. Coordinate project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to client deadlines. Ensure all electrical work is performed in compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards of workmanship. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables. Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during project execution. Maintain accurate records of project progress, team performance, and any incidents or deviations from plans. Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team. Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Required Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred. Proven experience in a supervisory or foreman role within the electrical industry. Extensive experience in electrical service work, including troubleshooting and repair. Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team of electricians effectively. Experience in coordinating project schedules and ensuring adherence to industry standards and client expectations.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and technical diagrams. Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering efficient and safe project execution.
