Job Description
Commercial Construction Foreman- Richmond, VA You know how to build. Now you're ready to lead. Lite Building Services is looking for an experienced commercial construction craftsman who is ready to take the next step into a Working Foreman role. You'll lead a small crew, stay involved in the work, and be the person the team looks to when it's time to get the job done right. This is a hands-on position. You won't be spending your days behind a desk. You'll be on site working alongside your crew, using your skills in carpentry, drywall, framing, and finish work while keeping the project moving. What You'll Do Lead the crew Run a 3-5 person crew on commercial tenant fit-outs, renovations, and small construction projects throughout the Richmond area. Stay hands-on Work alongside your crew performing carpentry, framing, drywall finishing, and other finish work. Own the day-to-day on site Keep the crew organized, make sure work is done safely and correctly, and keep the project moving according to schedule. Solve problems as they come up You'll be the go-to person in the field, working with the office and other trades to keep things on track. What We're Looking For 3+ years of commercial construction experience 1+ year leading a crew or working in a foreman role Strong carpentry and drywall finishing skills Ability to read blueprints and work from plans Reliable and able to take ownership of the work Spanish/English bilingual is a plus, but not required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime available when needed Paid holidays and PTO Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Life insurance Referral bonuses Schedule Monday-Friday 8-hour days Home every night Richmond-area job sites Opportunity to grow with the company Work Location Richmond, VA and surrounding areas If you're a skilled commercial construction professional who's ready to lead a crew without giving up the work you're good at, we'd like to hear from you.
