Role:
We are adding a Trade Foreman to lead field crews and support the execution of construction activities on water and wastewater projects. This role is responsible for overseeing crews, coordinating work in the field, and performing hands-on construction tasks. The Trade Foreman plays a key role in ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with project requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred Minimum of 3 years of construction experience At least 2 years of experience specializing in a trade Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong leadership and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in water or wastewater construction Experience leading crews or work areas Strong background in mechanical installation or concrete work Familiarity with coordinating work across multiple trades emphasize water/wastewater contruction
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise crews across assigned scopes of work Perform hands-on construction work alongside crews Lead installation of piping systems including PVC, copper, ductile iron, and steel Install and secure piping systems according to project specifications and safety standards Lead formwork, carpentry, and concrete placement activities Read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications to guide field work Pre-plan work activities, including materials, equipment, and manpower needs Coordinate with other trades to maintain workflow and productivity Communicate with team members, subcontractors, and project staff Ensure compliance with safety standards and jobsite expectations keep employees productive and engaged troubleshooting field conditions set the standard for professionalism, attendance, safety and workmanship
