• Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the planning, coordination, and execution of dirt work activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.

Lead a team of workers, providing direction, training, and support to maximize productivity and maintain a high level of team morale. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and align dirt work operations accordingly. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company safety policies, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to promote a safe working environment. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion within budget and on schedule. Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, material and equipment usage, and any incidents or issues that arise during construction. Troubleshoot and resolve any challenges or obstacles that may arise, employing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and management to provide project updates and address any concerns.

• Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Construction Foreman, specifically in dirt work, is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and dirt work construction processes. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications. Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to a demanding schedule.
