Job Description

Residential Remodeling Foreman River Valley Remodelers is hiring an experienced Residential Remodeling Foreman to lead residential remodeling projects, with a focus on window installation, deck construction, and general exterior and interior remodeling. We're looking for a hands-on leader with strong carpentry experience who can take ownership of a jobsite from start to finish. This position is ideal for someone who knows the trade, can effectively lead a crew, communicates well with homeowners, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work on schedule. As a Foreman, you'll work alongside the crew while also being responsible for jobsite organization, productivity, workmanship, safety, and communication. What You'll Do Lead and work alongside remodeling crews on residential projects Oversee the removal and installation of residential windows Lead deck construction, replacement, and repair projects Perform and oversee general residential remodeling and carpentry Assign daily tasks and provide direction to crew members Review project scope, measurements, materials, and job requirements before and throughout installation Ensure work meets River Valley Remodelers' quality standards Identify and resolve jobsite issues as they arise Monitor project progress and help keep jobs on schedule Coordinate material, equipment, and tool needs for each project Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and required safety practices Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the project Provide project updates and communicate concerns or changes to management Complete final jobsite walkthroughs and ensure projects are ready for closeout Train, support, and provide direction to less-experienced crew members What We're Looking For Strong professional experience in carpentry and residential remodeling Previous experience leading a crew, jobsite, or remodeling projects preferred Hands-on experience with window installation and deck construction Strong knowledge of framing, trim, finish carpentry, and general construction practices Ability to read measurements, project specifications, and job scopes accurately Ability to plan daily work and keep a crew productive Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Ability to communicate effectively with employees, homeowners, and management Dependable, punctual, organized, and accountable Comfortable taking ownership of projects and making jobsite decisions Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record The Right Fit We're looking for more than an experienced carpenter. The right person is someone others can rely on to take charge of a jobsite and get the project completed correctly . You should be comfortable leading by example, working alongside your crew, holding team members accountable, solving problems in the field, and communicating professionally with homeowners. You understand that a successful project means quality workmanship, an organized and safe jobsite, a productive crew, and a satisfied customer. Pay:
Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
