Job Description
Enthusiastic, Driven, and Hard Working Landscapers Needed R & R Landscaping is ready to add outstanding employees to our team! We are a professional landscape design/build firm that tackles everything from drainage and irrigation to fully functional outdoor living. We love to get creative with our clients and transform their yards into spaces they will enjoy for years to come. While we value experience, we value work ethic and a positive attitude more. Crew Leader duties include, without limitation: Working at designated job sites, ensuring that sufficient resources and materials are available and that high quality, efficient work is completed within budgeted hours. Reading landscape plans and installing a design from start to finish. Performing various labor such as plant installation, irrigation installation, concrete and rock installation, grading, mowing, yard maintenance, etc. Working as a team player and cultivating a positive work environment. Interacting with clients courteously and professionally by way of introduction at job onset and communication throughout job progression. Operating a variety of mechanical equipment including, but not limited to: skid steers, mini-skid steers, tillers, sod cutters, string trimmers, plant augers, demo saws, and chain saws (training provided). Operating automatic and manual transmission vehicles with heavy loads, including dump trucks, box trucks, and truck-and-trailer combinations. Maintaining assigned equipment and notifying management of needed repairs. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including work site, company vehicle, and equipment. Completing all necessary paperwork (including timesheets, receipt submission, and work orders) in a timely manner. Candidates must be able to read and write. Ideal candidates will have a positive and professional attitude, strong work ethic, and sense of pride in their work. Knowledge of standard horticultural practices (including, but not limited to, planting, pruning, plant health care, and fertilization) is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. To be considered for the Crew Leader position, candidates must possess a minimum of two years' experience leading a crew. Pay is dependent upon experience.
