Job Description

Your Legacy Team has an immediate opening for a skilled and reliable Construction Lead position. You will work on a variety of construction projects including condo remodels, single family home remodels and other various projects. These tasks include shower and tile install, flooring, trim work, door installation, cabinet installation, installing drywall and windows, and painting walls, while overseeing a crew of 1-2 people. We primarily work with local residential clients. We are looking for a competent lead who can work independently or with a crew. As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project. Your leadership skills, organizational skills and your extensive experience have earned you the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else.
Construction Lead Duties and Responsibilities:
Allocate general and daily responsibilities Supervise and train workers and tradespeople Ensure manpower and resources are adequate Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met Supervise the use of machinery and equipment Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget Resolve problems when they arise Report on progress to managers Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints Excellent organizational and leadership skills Ability to communicate and report effectively Aptitude in math Pay rate is based on experience and knowledge of the trades listed above.
