Landscapes Unlimited, LLC one of the country's premier golf course and recreational development firms has several immediate employment opportunities for golf course construction/irrigation laborers, operators in the Fayetteville, AR area. Positions are based on demand and will involve golf course renovation work. Opportunities for regular full-time employment are available for those willing to travel. Previous experience is not mandatory, but preferred
Responsibilities (Laborer)
Performs a variety of assigned routine manual tasks
Digs holes and trenches utilizing hand tools
Spreads and lays materials such as soil, green seed and sod, greens mix, gravel and sand
Takes direction and support from all positions ranging from experienced co-workers to General Superintendent
Other duties as assigned
Responsibilities (Operator)
Operates equipment in a safe manner with precision and efficiency to meet plan specifications and complete job tasks; maintains an awareness of surroundings at all times, including fellow employees and visible and non-visible hazards such as elevation changes, street crossings and underground utilities.
Conducts daily walk around inspections, performs routine maintenance, and reports damage or needed service to the Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.
Moves, loads and spreads materials throughout the project site utilizing mechanized equipment; unloads pipe, pallets, and other materials. Knows and does not exceed equipment limitations such as capacity and capability.
Excavates for pipe, drainage and utility installation and performs back-filling as necessary. Provides direction to employee(s) assisting with installation.
Performs grading and top loading operations, utilizing traditional laser methods and/or laser-guided equipment.
Performs and assists with finish operations and seedbed preparation in a trainee capacity.
Salary
Pay is dependent on position and experience, potential to receive a housing stipend
