Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Laborer - Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting various installation projects across residential and commercial sites. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure that building materials, fixtures, and systems are installed accurately and efficiently, contributing to the successful completion of each project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction, gain hands-on experience with a variety of tools and techniques, and be part of a team dedicated to quality craftsmanship. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of building materials, fixtures, and systems including drywall, flooring, cabinetry, roofing, tile masonry, gutters, and glass. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform tasks such as cutting, measuring, drilling, and fastening. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to ensure precise installation according to specifications. Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other measuring devices; follow blueprint specifications closely. Support construction management by following safety protocols on-site and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. Operate heavy equipment when necessary for site preparation or material handling. Conduct basic inspections of work completed to ensure quality standards are met before project handoff. Collaborate with team members to complete remodeling projects, restoration tasks, or new installations efficiently. Assist with the setup and breakdown of scaffolding or ladders safely for elevated work. Support the fabrication of custom components using appropriate tools and techniques as needed. Experience Prior construction site experience or related hands-on work in building trades is highly preferred. Familiarity with construction management processes and estimating is a plus but not required. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings is essential for accurate installation work. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, drywall installation, tile laying, masonry, roofing, or flooring is advantageous. Ability to operate hand tools such as saws, drills, levels, and caulking guns confidently. Comfort working at heights using ladders or scaffolding safely is necessary. Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites to prevent accidents and injuries. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and understanding project requirements.
