Job Description
The City of Gentry is now accepting applications for the position of Public Works Laborer. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, hold a high school diploma or GED, and possess a valid driver's license. A background check, including personal, professional, and criminal history, will be conducted. Additionally, a medical examination and drug screening are required. The Public Works Laborer role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, lifting up to 75 pounds, operating and maintaining various heavy equipment, and performing manual labor. Job duties may include tasks related to construction, treatment plants, road maintenance, park upkeep, and other assignments as directed by the supervisor.
