Decks, Docks, and More Inc. is searching for a SKILLED construction assistant, to fulfill a full-time position located in Heber Springs, AR. To be considered qualified for this position, you must have previous mechanical and construction experience. • What type of duties does this job hold? -Assisting leaders with prepping and installation and repairs on boat docks, boat lifts, building and repairing wood walkways, decks, and outdoor structures, as well as moving boat docks as needed, operating power tools such as saws, drills, etc. -Occasional swimming / wading in water as needed.
• You MUST have reliable transportation that is your own.
• You MUST be able to pass a drug test at any time.
• You MUST be able to read tape measure to 1/16" !
• You MUST be able to lift 75-lbs.
• You MUST be an honest, hard-working, and dependable individual.
• You MUST have a professional attitude during work hours.
• You MUST have the ability to pay attention to detail and work well with a team or alone.
• If you drive a truck and are willing to occasionally use it, that may be helpful... in which we pay a generous mileage pay reimbursement to our employees who are comfortable with occasionally utilizing their vehicles for work purposes (hauling trailers or driving yourself to certain jobs, when asked.)
• Please note: Pay is based on experience, work ethic, and quality of work.
• This is a physical job that will require much hands-on work.

You must be able to pay close attention to detail and ensure safety is the #1 priority. Overtime is available! We stay busy throughout the entire year. Overtime is paid after 40 hours. Our work week starts on Mondays and ends Sundays, so if you were called in on the weekend for some reason after you worked your normal 40 hours, you're paid overtime.

• We also typically work until the day's work is complete, which may be at 3:30 (which is our general quitting time if possible) or it may be 6pm.

Pay is weekly, on Fridays. The better work ethic and knowledge you have the more hours you will recieve and the sooner you will move up within this business. We are looking for skilled individuals who meet these minimal requirements to become future leaders, which could be in as little as 6-12 months from now.
