Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Water/Sewer Laborer and be a vital part of maintaining and improving essential infrastructure. In this energetic role, you will assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of water and sewer systems, ensuring safe and reliable service for our community. Your hands-on skills, mechanical knowledge, and enthusiasm will drive successful project completion while supporting the team's mission to deliver quality utility services. Assist with excavation, trenching, and backfilling for water and sewer line installations using heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, and backhoes. Perform utility locating to identify existing underground utilities before digging to prevent damage or accidents. Use hand tools and power tools to install piping, fittings, valves, and related infrastructure components with precision. Follow safety protocols diligently during climbing, trenching, equipment operation, and site inspections to maintain a safe working environment. Prior construction site experience with a focus on water or sewer projects is highly preferred. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and dozers. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively. From $15.90 per hour
