Job Summary We are looking for a reliable, hard-working General Construction Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will provide the essential muscle and physical support needed to keep our construction sites running safely and efficiently. This is an entry-level position perfect for someone with a strong work ethic who wants to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry. No prior specialized experience is required; we are willing to train the right person.

Key Responsibilities Site Preparation & Cleanup:

Clear debris, sweep work areas, and eliminate potential hazards to maintain an organized.

Material Handling:

Load, unload, and move heavy building materials (such as lumber, drywall, concrete mixes, and tools) across the job site.

Support Skilled Trades:

Assist carpenters, masons, electricians, and other specialized subcontractors by holding materials, fetching tools, and preparing workspace areas.

Basic Tool Operation:

Safely use hand and power tools including shovels, brooms, wheelbarrows, drills, and saws under direct supervision.

Site Setup:

Help assemble or dismantle temporary structures such as scaffolding, bracing, ramps, barricades, and traffic cones.

Digging & Trenching:

Perform manual excavation, dig trenches, and backfill holes as required for site preparation. You will be taught new skills on the job. MUST be willing to listen and learn.

Qualifications & Skills Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and perform strenuous manual labor for extended periods.

Strength Requirement:

Must be able to consistently lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted.

Reliability:

Strong work ethic, punctual attendance, and a positive "can-do" attitude.

Communication:

Ability to follow verbal instructions accurately and work seamlessly as part of a team.

Safety Mindset:

Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)—including hard hats, steel-toe boots, and safety glasses—at all times.

Transportation:

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to various local job sites.

Work Environment & Schedule Hours:
