Role:

This is an outdoor, hands-on position performing work across various job sites in the greater Phoenix area. Candidates must be fully prepared to work in extreme Arizona heat, including summer temperatures that regularly exceed 110°F. Prior experience working outdoors in high-heat conditions is required.

Core Responsibilities:

Installs hardscape materials including pavers, flagstone, block walls, retaining walls, gravel, decomposed granite, and edging. Prepares and grades job sites including excavation, compaction, and base material installation. Performs heavy lifting and material handling throughout the workday. Moving rock, block, sand, and other materials is a core daily function. Completes daily work assignments on time and to quality standards.

Requirements:

Must have demonstrated experience working outdoors in extreme heat — Arizona summers are intense and physical endurance in high temperatures is non-negotiable. Ability to perform strenuous physical labor including heavy lifting (50+ lbs regularly), digging, shoveling, tamping, bending, and kneeling for extended periods throughout the workday. Strictly follows PPE and all safety protocols. Team player that gets along well with others. Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time.

Qualifications :

1+ year of proven experience in hardscape installation, landscaping, or outdoor construction labor. High School diploma or general education degree (GED). Ability to communicate in English. Valid driver's license a plus.

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
