Job Description:

Do you want to work in a fun, caring, and energetic environment? If so, we invite you to join our team at Ability as a Direct Support Professional working in a DTA (NOT group home)! As a Direct Support Professional working in a DTA (NOT group home), you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to individuals within our day program. You will work directly with individuals on approved programs and skills, helping them to become self-sufficient and achieve their personal goals. Daily activities may include work programs, games, community outings, personal care, vocational training, and transportation.

Qualifications:

Must possess a valid Arizona driver's license. Able to read, write and speak English fluently. Must be able to lift up to seventy-five pounds and perform physical tasks as needed. Able to read and interpret documents and write routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to obtain a fingerprint clearance card. Must have or be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification, Article 9 and any other required training.
