Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer, where your energy and dedication will help bring building projects to life! In this vital role, you'll assist with various on-site tasks, ensuring that construction activities proceed smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Your hands-on work will support skilled tradespeople by preparing sites, handling materials, and performing essential tasks that keep projects on track. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in construction while contributing to exciting building endeavors across diverse environments. Duties Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including staging materials and tools Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling components Support concrete-related activities including pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction Help with rebar installation and metal stud framing to ensure structural integrity Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications and requirements Perform heavy lifting of materials such as concrete blocks, rebar, and other building supplies Follow all safety protocols and workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site Skills Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain various tools and equipment effectively Construction estimating skills for understanding project scope and material needs (nice-to-have) Experience with hardscape work, including paving and landscape features (preferred) Ability to read blueprints and interpret construction plans accurately Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, pumping, and cutting techniques Familiarity with concrete forming, formwork construction, and rebar installation processes Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocol adherence Experience working on diverse construction projects across different environments Carpentry skills including metal stud framing and tile laying (advantageous) Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications precisely for accurate execution This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a career in construction.
