Job Description
Job Title:
Golf Starter Reports to:Golf Coordinator Classification:
Non-Exempt / HourlyESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Open and / or close the golf in the morning and / or evening following the prescribed routine.
- Welcome golfers to the course
- Approach players in rule violation of dress code or regulations in a positive manner.
- Make reservations for players and confirm owner/guest status.
- Collect fees for play, and sale of balls and tees.
- Send players off at the designated starting times.
- Assist players with such things as misplaced clubs or a lost ball.
- Review unreturned golf cart passes and arrange for return.
- At end of shift, do the appropriate accounting of all cash.
- Send the cash and accounting data to the Association office as required.
- Tournament Operations.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

- PGA Associate Level 1 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must pay attention to detail Must be able to demonstrate team behavior and willing to promote a team-oriented environment Prior golf starter experience and knowledge.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to bend, stoop and lift, up to 40 pounds
- Ability to adapt to the outside conditions of wind, cold, and extreme heat SAFETY Incumbent is required to comply with established safe work practices and attend all safety-related training provided or made available by the
