Job Description
Crew Lead - About the Role We are looking for an experienced, reliable Crew Lead to run our fence construction projects from start to finish. Our work focuses primarily on high-quality fence construction along with wildfire mitigation and related outdoor projects throughout the Bay Area. In this role you will lead a small crew, set the pace on the job site, and make sure every install is done efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of craftsmanship. The work varies day to day.

What We Offer Company truck and sales commission after probationary period Full-time, steady work year-round Work in the growing wildfire mitigation industry Opportunity for advancement as the company grows Responsibilities Lead and coordinate a crew on residential and commercial fence construction and related outdoor projects Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fence installation Dig post holes, set posts, hang gates, and install fencing materials alongside the crew Operate hand tools, power tools and other construction equipment safely and effectively Manage the handling and installation of building materials including wood, metal, concrete, and other fencing supplies Oversee material loading and transport, site setup, and job site organization Support wildfire mitigation and defensible space projects Make sure all work complies with safety protocols, construction plans, and local regulations Communicate with customers on site and address questions about the work in progress Keep accurate records of project progress, safety checks, and material usage Other duties as assigned Preferred Proven experience in fencing, carpentry, frame carpentry, or outdoor construction Experience leading or supervising a crew while holding the line on safety and quality Skilled with hand tools, power tools and related construction equipment Strong knowledge of fence installation techniques and building material handling Experience with heavy lifting, concrete work, hardscape, and general site management Knowledge of safety practices for power tools and outdoor construction work Strong work ethic and the ability to problem solve in the field Ability to perform physical labor and lift 50+ lbs daily, in varying weather conditions Reliable, punctual, and professional with customers Fluent in both English and Spanish Work Area Projects are located throughout the immediate Bay Area (North Bay, South Bay, East Bay and occasionally north to the Sonoma area).
