Duties Assist in the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material staging Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and cutting equipment safely and efficiently Perform concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to create sturdy foundations and structures Install rebar and metal stud framing according to blueprint specifications to reinforce concrete and structural elements Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to execute tasks accurately Conduct site cleanup, organize materials, and support the installation of tile, stucco, plastering, caulking, and other surface finishes Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations and ensure compliance during daily operations Requirements Proven experience working on construction projects with knowledge of heavy lifting techniques Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools, equipment operation, and maintenance Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately Familiarity with concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, and concrete pouring processes Knowledge of construction estimating principles is a plus but not required Understanding of safety regulations specific to the construction industry and commitment to safety protocol adherence Skills in carpentry, metal stud framing, tile laying, plastering or stucco work are advantageous Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their skills in a fast-paced construction environment.
