This role involves supporting various construction projects by performing physical tasks, operating tools and assisting skilled tradespeople. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a focus on safety, and the ability to work effectively in a construction environment. Prior 3 years of construction experience. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including unloading materials and equipment Support skilled tradespeople with tasks Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks like rebar installation, metal stud framing, and tile laying Perform heavy lifting of materials such as concrete bags, rebar, or framing components and lifting tasks Tasks as assigned Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on-site Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries Assist in the installation tasks as needed Support the movement of materials as required for project progress Skills Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and proper use of hand tools and power tools Understanding of construction site safety regulations and ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols Skills in rebar installation, metal stud framing, tile laying, plastering, caulking, stucco application Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
