Clean Background Needed and Authorized to work in the United States! We are hiring journeyman-level tradespeople to work across multiple trades on public works projects. This is not a single-trade position. Depending on the project, you may be framing one week and setting fixtures the next. Our crews are small and largely self-directed, so we need people who can pick up a set of plans, understand the scope, and produce quality work without someone standing over them. What You'll Do General demolition — selective demo, removal, and disposal per project requirements Carpentry — wood and metal stud framing, blocking, doors and hardware, finish work Electrical — installing light fixtures, receptacles, switches, and devices, with associated conduit and wiring Plumbing — installing fixtures and running pipe per plans and applicable code Read and work directly from construction drawings and project specifications Work independently or as part of a small crew at sites across the Bay Area Submit accurate daily time records (required for certified payroll on public works jobs) Maintain a safe and orderly work site per Cal/OSHA and agency site rules What We're Looking For Journeyman-level experience across general construction trades — minimum 10 years Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Demonstrated ability to work independently and own your portion of the scope Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation Willingness to travel to job sites throughout the Bay Area California REAL ID, or the ability to obtain one, for entry at secured federal facilities Ability to obtain and maintain site access clearance for secured federal and government facilities. Access is granted by the contracting agency and requires a government-administered background check. A pre-employment background check is required after a conditional offer of employment for this reason.
