Description:

This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience using hand and power tools, and the ability to work from blueprints, schematics, and work instructions in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical and electromechanical systems according to engineering drawings and specifications Install and connect components including tubing, fittings, valves, pumps, electrical components, and control systems Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to complete assemblies Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, BOMs, and assembly instructions Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and quality inspections Support manufacturing, production, and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Assist with inventory, material handling, and production support activities Qualifications Experience in mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, construction, maintenance, installation, or manufacturing Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Experience reading blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Experience with plumbing, piping, conduit, pumps, valves, filtration systems, HVAC, or industrial equipment is preferred Comfortable standing, lifting, and working in a production environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hawthorne, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
