SRC is a home repair and maintenance company, serving mainly Home Owner's Associations as well as a steady set of private customers. We work largely in Sacramento County and occasionally as far as the bay area. Services included range from electrical and plumbing repairs to concrete pours and fence building plus everything in between. Think Jacks and Janes of all trades. The ability to accurately record your hours, report back, and write legibly is essential. Basically, if it's part of your home and you need it repaired/built/replaced, we're the ones you call. Be aware this includes things like toilet repairs, occasional light cleaning, tree trimming, gutter cleanouts, trenching, etc. If you have a problem getting dirty, this is not the job for you. If you have a problem working outside in the heat or are afraid of heights, this is not the job for you. If you hate talking to people and never answer your phone, this is not the job for you. If you want a small company where you are willing to work hard and, in turn, are seen, heard, and valued, we can't wait to hear from you. Required skills : core abilities with electrical, irrigation, fencing, concrete, drywall, plumbing, and carpentry, as well as basic power tools. You don't need to have a general contractor's license but you need basic familiarity with home repairs. For the occasional specialty work, we're willing to teach if you're willing to learn. A dependable vehicle is absolutely required and a truck is preferred. We work multiple job sites per day and frequently visit supply companies as well as warehouses. Expect to haul drywall, lumber, furniture, etc. Driver's license and vehicle insurance are required and will be checked regularly . Basic hand and power tools will be supplied and training on more advanced or specialty tools will be provided as needed. We are a small, family-owned, and hard-working company with an established clientele and more than 18 years of experience. We are flexible with start/finish times if you have classes or kids and work Monday through Friday. Days usually start around 7am and are finished by 3:30-4.
