State Pension • Medical, dental and vision coverage Key Responsibilities Must be a skilled track laborer. Move and install various track components. Lift, carry, and position rail and other track materials. Perform track construction, maintenance, and repair activities. Operate hand tools, power tools, and track maintenance equipment safely and effectively. Assist with track inspections and identify potential safety concerns. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This is a skilled position; candidates must be trained and experienced track laborers. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver's license with a minimum of three (3) years of driving experience. Knowledge and experience using track jacks and other track maintenance equipment. Ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis. Previous railroad track construction, maintenance, or related experience required. Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork. Work schedule is Monday through Friday, with some night and weekend work required. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Ability to sustain alertness and attention during repetitive or tedious tasks. Ability to work outdoors in a variety of temperatures and weather conditions. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials and equipment. Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and work on uneven terrain. Must be able to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and potentially some holidays.
