We are a fast-paced, client-focused practice dedicated to the care of dogs and cats. Our mission is to foster a strong sense of community and build lasting relationships with both our clients and their beloved pets. Position Overview We are currently seeking a full-time Veterinary Assistant who is compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic about animal care. In this role, you'll support our veterinarians and technicians in delivering high-quality medical services to our patients. If you have a background working with animals and a passion for helping pets, we'd love to hear from you. Please feel free to drop off your resume at the front desk of our hospital. Previous experience or volunteer work involving animal care is required. Key Responsibilities Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures Safely and properly restrain animals for treatments Walk, feed, and monitor hospitalized and boarding patients Bathe and maintain the hygiene of patients as needed Take basic vital signs (e.g., temperature, weight) Administer vaccines and injections as directed Accurately document patient care and medical notes Help maintain a clean and sanitary hospital environment Prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities at once Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills Be a proactive, dependable, and supportive team player
