Santa Rosa / North Bay Projects LAD Excavation is looking for a dependable Grade Setter / Laborer / Operator to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in doing quality work. Every day is different—you may be setting grade one day, operating equipment the next, installing underground utilities, preparing concrete, or helping the crew keep a project moving. We're looking for someone who works hard, communicates well, takes direction, and is the kind of person others enjoy working with. • Set and maintain grade for excavation and utility installations
• Read plans, stakes, and grade information
• Assist with excavation, grading, underground utilities, drainage, and site development
• Operate equipment appropriate to your experience (excavators, skid steers, loaders, compactors, etc.)
• Install pipe, structures, and related underground improvements
• Perform layout, measurements, and quality checks in the field
• Help maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites
• Work alongside foremen and crews to keep projects moving efficiently What We're Looking For
• Ability to read plans and understand grades is

REQUIRED

• Experience operating construction equipment is preferred
• Willingness to work both on and off equipment as needed
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Positive attitude and team-first mindset
• Safety-conscious and respectful of equipment and coworkers
• Ability to communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, inspectors, and customers Bonus Experience (Not Required)
• GPS grade control or laser experience
• Pipe installation and utility work
• Concrete forming or site concrete
• Class A or Class B CDL
• OSHA 10 or other construction certifications Success Looks Like
