A Construction Helper or Worker works at construction sites and projects. Works as a skilled trades worker such as bricklayer, carpenter, painter, electrician or mason, or operates construction equipment.
Monday-Friday, Day Shift, 8-Hour Shifts About the Role We're looking for a reliable, organized Construction Site Laborer to support multiple active job sites across the Thousand Oaks area, primarily focused on ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) construction projects . This role is the backbone of daily site operations — keeping ADU job sites clean and organized, coordinating deliveries and trash pick-ups, and acting as the go-to person when something unexpected comes up. This is not a carpentry-focused role, but any hands-on construction, handyman, or carpentry background is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities Travel between multiple active job sites to maintain cleanliness and organization Coordinate dumpster deliveries, swaps, and trash pick-ups Receive and organize incoming construction material deliveries Sweep, vacuum, and keep materials/tools properly stored across sites Communicate daily site activity and issues to the general contractor Create and execute punch lists and checklists with subcontractors Run job-site errands (picking up materials, supplies, etc.) Be the on-the-ground problem solver — handle whatever comes up Coordinate and be present for inspections with Building & Safety Inspectors Perform basic handyman or carpentry tasks as needed Lift and move heavy materials and equipment as part of daily site duties Qualifications Experience in construction, general labor, or handyman work Comfortable reading basic plans/blueprints Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (frequent travel between sites) Own basic hand/power tools Strong communicator, able to multitask and stay organized across several projects at once Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision Must be authorized to work in the United States.
