Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects. As a Construction Laborer, you will assist skilled tradespeople in building, repairing, and maintaining structures while ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. Your hands-on contribution will help bring high-quality construction projects to life, making a tangible impact in communities and neighborhoods. Duties Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including unloading materials and preparing work areas. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and finishing. Support concrete work including mixing, pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction. Install rebar, metal studs, and other structural components following blueprint specifications and schematics. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks. Support specialized tasks such as roofing, stucco application, masonry, tile laying, or restoration projects as needed. Requirements Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades is highly desirable. Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous. Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and heavy equipment operation. Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols is essential. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions. Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely. Valid driver's license for commercial driving or site transportation may be preferred for certain roles.
