Job Description

Traveling Construction Laborer (Geo‑Technical & Ground Improvement) A leading geo‑technical contractor is hiring Traveling Construction Laborers to support specialty foundation, ground improvement, and earth‑retention projects across the Rocky Mountain region and central U.S. This is a field‑intensive role involving heavy labor, travel, and hands‑on work on large commercial, civil, and industrial projects. This position is ideal for someone who wants steady work, strong overtime potential, and the opportunity to build a long‑term career in specialty construction. Key Responsibilities General site cleanup and material handling Digging trenches and moving hoses, tools, and equipment Spotting equipment for operators Compacting and shovel work Moving and staging drill piping Cleaning and maintaining equipment Light rebar work and mounting wood lagging boards Supporting earth‑retention and ground‑improvement installations Working safely outdoors in all weather conditions Must be comfortable lifting 75+ lbs regularly . Travel Requirements Travel required 50% of the time Typical rotation: home once per month Jobs last 1-2 months on average Travel region includes: Rocky Mountain states Kansas North Dakota to Texas Occasional projects as far as Louisiana Mileage paid at the federal reimbursement rate Per diem: $40/day when 1 hour from the office or 50+ miles from the shop If flights are required, travel is arranged and covered Workers who enjoy travel have the opportunity to take more travel assignments . Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
