Appliance Installer/Delivery Driver

Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and other delivery vehicles to transport appliances to residential and commercial locations. Unload, inspect, and deliver appliances, ensuring they arrive in pristine condition. Install, assemble, and set up appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC equipment according to manufacturer specifications and schematics. Conduct basic appliance repairs and troubleshoot mechanical or electrical issues using your mechanical knowledge and technical skills. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to facilitate proper installation and repair procedures. Communicate clearly with customers to explain appliance features, answer questions, and provide excellent customer service throughout the delivery process. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools used for installation and repair tasks. Document all work performed accurately in service reports and maintain detailed records of deliveries and installations. Experience Previous experience as a delivery driver or field service technician is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair or equipment repair. Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, refrigeration systems, HVAC components, and assembly processes. Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism, patience, and clear communication skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles is a plus. Knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration principles, HVAC basics, or related technical fields enhances your fit for this role.
