LOOKING TO ADD YOU TO OUR AMAZING TEAM
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as the ability to work effectively with patients of all ages, particularly in pediatric settings. The Speech Therapist will play a crucial role in early intervention programs and collaborate with families and educational institutions to support the communication needs of children. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine speech and language disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Implement speech therapy techniques to improve communication skills. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Educate patients and families on speech disorders and therapeutic techniques. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to provide comprehensive care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes. Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in speech therapy practices. Requirements Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field. Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Therapist. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and speech therapy methodologies. Experience in pediatric settings is preferred; familiarity with early intervention practices is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Compassionate approach towards patient care and commitment to improving patient outcomes.
Job Types:
Part-time, PRN Pay:
$70.00 - $80.00 per hour Expected hours: 2 - 15 per week
