CO ABOUT THE ROLE
Assists foreman, superintendent, skilled craft workers, and field engineers in performing their assigned duties under close supervision.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Digging, spreading and levelling dirt, sand and gravel using a pick, shovel, or rake Lift, carry and hold construction materials, tools and supplies Operate a vibrator, pressure washer, hose, or Jumping Jack Cut trees and brush in clearing of land Lay pipe Grout rip rap Grade checking Duties to be added as skills and abilities increase.
This may include:
power tools, plate tampers, jack hammers, hammer drills, fence erectors, install concrete blankets, demo saws, cutting torch for sheet pile, t-post driver, set up heater hoses for grout, winterize all water pumps and hoses. Organize and clean tool trailer and Conex on jobs When not performing the above-mentioned essential duties and responsibilities, willassist in other operations as designated by supervisor Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
High school diploma or GED; Ability to read, write, and speak well (English); Basic math skills (American system of metrics; English); Valid Driver's License.
Additional Requirements:
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
