In this role, you will be responsible for expertly applying wallpaper to various surfaces in residential and commercial settings, ensuring a flawless finish that enhances interior spaces. Your expertise will contribute to transforming environments through precise surface preparation, accurate installation, and creative application techniques. Duties Prepare walls and surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and applying primer to ensure optimal adhesion of wallpaper. Measure spaces accurately using tape measures and interpret technical drawings or design specifications for precise installation. Install wallpaper using various techniques including hand tools, brushes, rollers, paint sprayers (including airless spray systems), and conventional spraying methods for seamless results. Use ladders safely to reach high areas while adhering to all safety regulations and protocols, including the use of respiratory protection when necessary. Apply finishing techniques such as caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and touch-ups to achieve a polished look. Conduct quality checks by visual color comparison and surface inspection to ensure consistency and adherence to project standards. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of waste properly, and following safety protocol adherence at all times. Experience Strong knowledge of construction site safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless systems), brushes, rollers, and other application equipment. Familiarity with construction painting surface preparation techniques such as sanding, scraping, caulking, and primer application. Ability to interpret technical drawings or blueprints related to interior finishes or renovation plans. Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations; experience with visual color comparison for matching shades accurately. Previous construction site experience with exposure to commercial painting projects or residential painting environments is highly desirable.
