Pipelayer Laborer - Denver Metro & Front Range (
Pay:
$20-$28/hr) Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Pipelayer Laborer to support heavy civil, water infrastructure, and commercial construction projects across the Denver metro and Front Range. This role combines hands‑on pipe installation, earthwork, concrete support, and general labor duties. Ideal candidates are reliable, safety‑focused, and eager to grow their skills in multiple trades. Key Responsibilities Pipe installation support — assist operators with laying, aligning, and backfilling pipe Earthwork and grading — remove, fill, or compact soil; support site prep Concrete labor — assist with pouring, mixing, finishing, and rebar tying Material handling — load/unload, move, and stage materials Erosion control — install silt fence, wattles, and stabilization materials Set up pumps, jobsite equipment, and temporary structures Prep and maintain clean, safe work areas Perform punch‑list tasks such as reseeding, installing site furnishings, and touch‑up repairs Support skilled trades, operators, and craft workers as needed Daily/weekly site cleanup and general labor duties Required Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of construction experience preferred (pipe laying, concrete, landscaping, or heavy civil a plus) Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform strenuous physical tasks Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and slopes over 50% grade Must be at least 18 years old Reliable transportation to travel between job sites Ability to work in all weather conditions Strong work ethic, integrity, and positive attitude Punctual, dependable, and safety‑minded Preferred Experience Experience in utilities, earthwork, erosion control, or concrete Experience working on water treatment facilities or commercial/heavy civil projects Familiarity with pumps, scaffolding, and jobsite equipment Work Environment Projects include water treatment facilities, infrastructure, athletic fields, parks, and river work Semi‑indoor and outdoor environments depending on project type Team‑based work with crews of 4+ Hands‑on, physically active role with daily variety Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
